Hampshire College approached Del Padre with a unique challenge. Seeking a fun and engaging way to create an interactive map of the college campus. The Del Padre team built an enterprise-level, highly navigable, and contemporary map that housed various high-level features that benefited users and administrators. Del Padre accomplished their vision using Adobe Flash and Zoomify, a technology that makes ultra-high-resolution images fast and interactive on the Web. This is accomplished using image streaming: incremental, on-demand access to image data by level of detail and area of view. Matching the look and feel of their existing site, it also features clickable hot spots that bring the viewer to interactive 360 degree panning images of the campus.
